Roto Brewery to Join the July 19 Minamiota Beer Festival in Yokohama
Roto Brewery will take part in the first Minamiota Beer Festival on July 19, 2026, at Hitoiki Space DONDON, the station-front plaza at Minamiota Station. The free, no-reservation event will feature three Keikyu-area breweries alongside local food vendors.
First festival at Minamiota Station
The first Minamiota Beer Festival will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hitoiki Space DONDON, the station-front plaza right outside Minamiota Station on the Keikyu Line. Admission is free and no reservation is required. The event will go ahead in the rain, and only severe weather will lead to cancellation.
Three breweries will pour beers on the day: Roto Brewery from Kami-Ooka, Yokohama; Minami Yokohama Beer Laboratory from Kanazawa-Bunko; and Yokohama Kanazawa Brewery from Noukendai. Local vendors such as Yokohama Kimijimaya, Wakayama Shoten, and Sims Kitchen will also join, adding food, sweets, and non-alcoholic drinks to the lineup.
Roto Brewery began brewing in Kami-Ooka in 2018 and is known for fruit-forward beers that aim to balance drinkability with character. That background fits naturally with a neighborhood festival built around local beer and food.
The venue itself is a newly opened station-front plaza, so the event also serves as a test case for how craft beer and local businesses can help create foot traffic and everyday vibrancy around Minamiota Station.
