At the beer pub "MOONRISE KINGDOM" in Nishi-Shinjuku, NOMCRAFT BREWING's Emulator / Emulator made an appearance. The style is India Pale Lager. It is presented as a beer with a clean, refreshing citrus character, made with Kiyomi peel from Wakayama.

The hops are Centennial, Cascade, Chinook, Citra, Vic Secret. Citrus-like aromas layer together, creating a finish with aromatic depth while keeping a light feel. It is described as a beer suited to people who want both the satisfying presence of an IPA and the easy drinkability of a lager, and it is clearly being offered as a guest beer that pairs easily with food.

On this day, MOONRISE KINGDOM was serving 3 domestic taps and 30 bottles of overseas craft beer. True to its beer-pub character, it lets guests choose from both tap pours and bottles, making it easy to switch up what you drink depending on your mood or the food. Hours are lunch 12:00-14:30 and dinner 17:30-23:00. Reservations and takeout are also available.

The food lineup included sea bream ceviche, carnitas tacos, chicken quesadillas, BBQ steak tacos, prosciutto and melon with mascarpone, and squid ink pasta. The bright citrus notes from the Kiyomi peel pair easily with seafood appetizers as well as tacos with spice and meaty richness, making it a combination you can enjoy by moving back and forth between food and beer.
