BEER MARROW in Kichijoji Taps Limited Hazy Wave Spectrum from Black Tide Brewing
BEER MARROW, a craft beer pub in Kichijoji, Tokyo, has tapped the limited Hazy Wave Spectrum from Miyagi-based BLACK TIDE BREWING. The 7.0% DDH Hazy IPA joins a seven-beer lineup featuring hazy, sour, fruited, and barrel-aged styles.
A limited Citra-driven hazy IPA
The featured new tap at BEER MARROW is Hazy Wave Spectrum from BLACK TIDE BREWING in Kesennuma, Miyagi. This special version builds on the brewery’s regular Hazy Wave, adding Spectrum to intensify the hop aroma. Brewed as a 7.0% DDH Hazy IPA, it uses three types of Citra to create vivid citrus aromatics and a dank flavor profile. As a limited release, it is a timely pour for hop-focused drinkers visiting Kichijoji.
The tap list also includes Off Trail Gimme Those Fairy Wings from Far Yeast Brewing, a 6.5% barrel-aged sour ale with mixed berries and Morello cherry. DD4D BREWING’s ALTERING offers a lighter 5.0% Golden Ale, while Mango & Lime Sour from Hansharo Bīya is a 5.0% fruited gose with a bright, tart profile.
For a stronger hop lineup, guests can compare Hazy Wave Spectrum with RIO BREWING’s 8.5% DDH Hazy DIPA SOCIAL GRAVITY, Totopia Brewing’s 5.5% DDH Hazy Pale Ale Ripplephobia, and WEST COAST BREWING’s 8.0% Hazy Double IPA Cloud 7. The selection covers several levels of bitterness, fruit character, haze, and alcohol strength.
