North Island Beer is a brewery that has been sharing distinctive beers from Hokkaido, drawing on the experience of brewers who trained in Canada. Its official website also highlights Weizen made with wheat from Ebetsu and limited-batch brews that make use of Hokkaido hops, and its strength lies in brewing that takes advantage of local ingredients. In addition to its five core beers, it also offers monthly limited-edition beers, and the breadth of its lineup comes through clearly from the June event information as well.
