North Island Beer Announces Fresh Hop Ale By-Weight Sales at Its April 29 Factory Direct Sale

North Island Beer, which has been brewing craft beer in Ebetsu, Hokkaido since 2003, announced its factory direct sale day for April 29. According to its official Instagram account, the shop will be open on a holiday schedule that day, and visitors are being encouraged to stop by while the cherry blossoms next to the brewery are in full bloom.
The beer sold by weight that day will be "Fresh Hop Ale." The price is 2.1 yen per gram, with a plastic cup priced at 700 yen, and a rare 10-liter keg will also be available. The post also says tickets for the Sapporo Craft Beer Forest will be sold at the direct-sale shop, and payment there will be cash only.
The factory direct-sale shop, operating as "North Island Beer Ebetsu Brewery," is located on the 1st floor of Ambitious Plaza, 11-5 Motomachi, Ebetsu City. Business hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays and public holidays, and 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sundays. The post also outlines the operating schedule during the Golden Week period: open on April 29 and from May 2 through May 6, with May 3 the only day open from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
