Fukuoka City’s Chuo Ward beer pub BEERKICHI ビアキチ, located in Watanabe-dori, announced that on Wednesday, March 25, it will be open from 3:00 p.m. to midnight. Along with that, it introduced two beers from Fukuoka brewery NEKOBEER as that day’s New on Tap.
The beers tapped this time are:
- Watashi wa Sakuranbo (Sour IPA / ABV 5.0%)
- Nerutora-san (DDH IPA / ABV 6.5%)
With a tart Sour IPA and a DDH IPA that puts hop character front and center, the lineup offers a striking contrast and lets you enjoy a wide range of flavors. The post also introduces them with a nuance of “soothing a tired heart,” making it the kind of day where it’s easy to choose your first glass based on your mood.
BEERKICHI is a place where you can take your time enjoying craft beer in the middle of Fukuoka city. Because it regularly shares the latest information on new taps from local breweries, it’s an easy shop to check for people who want to visit for the newest pours.
The post also mentioned event information for Friday, March 27 through Monday, March 30: “Yuri Fes 2026: Seal Off Watanabe-dori.” Toward the latter half of the week, it looks like a good time to enjoy both beer and the movement of the city in the Watanabe-dori area.
