The beer pub YELLOW APE CRAFT in Imahashi, Osaka, has announced the details of its cherry blossom viewing event on Instagram. According to the post, the venue is, as in previous years, Nantenma Park. After crossing Tenjimbashi and turning right at the police box, the area near the tennis courts is designated as the meeting point.

Drinks on the day will be prepared by the shop. The main highlight is the operational setup in which eight taps are rotated throughout the event. Because the beers poured may change depending on the time of day, one way to enjoy it is to start early and compare different beers, or to come back later and have another glass. The post also says that sake selected by Mr. Tada will be available.

The participation fee is 6,500 yen per person (cash only). On the other hand, the post also notes that they can accommodate people who only want to stop by for a single drink, making it easy for those who cannot join for the full event to swing by. Non-drinkers are free, and children are welcome, which gives the event a broadly open, outdoor-friendly feel.

Food is bring-your-own, and the use of fire is prohibited. Drinks may also be brought in. The event is designed so that people can join with a casual picnic feel, while the main focus remains craft beer.

If it rains, the event will be moved to Ape Brewing. Announcements about the weather decision will be made on each shop's social media accounts on the morning of the event, around 9:00 to 10:00, so it is worth checking before heading out.

As a shop, YELLOW APE CRAFT has long been known in the Kitahama area for its multifaceted approach to draft craft beer. Since it is already known for running many taps in its regular operation, this looks set to be a day where people can experience the fun of a "tapping rotation" outdoors as well.
