20 Craft Breweries Gather in Chiba Minato

Otako Beer Brewery, based in Chiba City, will exhibit at Chiba Beer Fest 2026, held on April 25 and 26 at Sanbashi Hiroba in Chiba Minato. The event was planned as a place to broadly enjoy Chiba's craft beer culture, and once again it will bring together makers from across the region, with a focus on local breweries.

The publicly announced exhibitor list includes, in addition to Otako Beer, Shiokaze Blue Lab, Y.Y.G Brewery Factory, Inabiya, Makuhari Brewery, Kaigan Brewing, Kankiku Brewery, RIO BREWING&CO., and Ushitora Brewery. Another feature of the event is that multiple breweries from within Chiba City will participate. Brewers from each company are also expected to attend, so it should be a chance not only to sample beers side by side, but also to hear directly from the people who make them.

The venue will also offer plenty of food to pair with the beer. In addition to food trucks and food booths serving takoyaki, curry, loco moco rice bowls, pizza, and more, hands-on content will also be available. The event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on the 25th, and from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the 26th. Its convenient location, just a 3-minute walk from JR Chiba Minato Station and Chiba Urban Monorail Chiba Minato Station, is another attraction.

As a local brewery rooted in Chiba City, Otako Beer Brewery has supported the region's beer scene. Taking part in a major event held locally will provide an opportunity to experience the brewery's beers in a different setting from its usual taproom and sales channels. Over these two days in the open waterfront area of Chiba Minato, visitors should be able to taste the individuality of regional breweries all in one place.
