A station platform turned into a beer hall

The `Yase Eiden Station Beer Festival 2026` runs from September 4 to 6, 2026 at Yase-Hieizanguchi Station. The platform becomes a “Beer Home,” while the parked train becomes a “Beer Train,” creating a rare setting where visitors can enjoy local craft beer and food inside a historic station atmosphere.

Yamori-do appears on September 6. That day’s lineup also includes Kyoto Ichijoji Brewery, Kyoto Arashiyama Brewery, CRAFT BANK, Kotokoto Beer, and Yamaoka Saketen, making it a strong one-day cross section of Kyoto’s beer and sake scene. As a brewpub based in Fushimi, Yamori-do adds a distinctly local Kyoto character to the event.

The festival changes its brewery lineup by day. On September 4 and 5, visitors can also drink from breweries such as FUJINOMORI BEER&C, Woodmill Brewery Kyoto, Tanba Sasayama Zigzag Brewery, and Kyoto Beer Lab. Food stalls will serve dishes that pair well with beer, including rolled omelet, yakitori, seafood yakisoba, takoyaki, and shaved ice.

A limited-edition original beer glass will also be sold, and drinks poured in the event glass are discounted by 50 yen per pour. With a retro station setting, day-by-day brewery rotation, and Yamori-do on the final day, this is an event that beer fans in Kyoto will want to mark on the calendar.
