April 13 Tap List


The Osaka/Umeda beer pub "CRAFT BEER BASE leaf" has prepared 15 taps for its April 13 service. The lineup consists of 10 house beers plus five guest beers, and guests can enjoy them indoors from 11:00 to 23:00. Food last order is 22:00, and drink last order is also 22:00.

Among the house beers, leaf, made with sage and lemongrass, the staples BLONDE and PALE ALE, and the newly added LAVENDER & CHAMOMILE and Ikeda Mikan Wit are on tap. Also available are MIX JUICY 012, Belgian IPA, Sorachi Kinuyuki ~ Sake Yeast BMK3 ver., Red Ale, and Robust Porter. The aroma profiles and colors span a wide range, making it easy to build a full tasting flow, from light and easy-drinking beers to dark styles you will want to sip slowly.

The guest beers include Chuckanut's two beers, Pilsner and Vienna Lager, Boxphobia from Totopia, RODENBACH CLASSIC, and Imperial Stout 2023 from Daisen G Beer. With lager, sour styles, DIPA, and imperial stout all represented, it looks like a lineup that will be especially fun to compare with the house beers.

The post also mentions salami made with koji for miso, and notes how it pairs well with PALE ALE and Vienna Lager. With the location on the 2nd floor of Grand Green Osaka, it is easy to stop by after work or between shopping. Reservations are accepted from 11:00 to 21:00, so it should also be convenient for groups.
