The blue pub Sakazuki Brewing in Kitasenju, Adachi Ward, Tokyo, will tap its custom-made beer "Feelin' single" on April 22.

This beer was born from a request by a customer who won the "original beer brewing rights" at last year's anniversary event. Based on the wish to express the impression of tankan encountered in Okinawa through beer, the brewery says it refined the recipe through repeated fine-tuning, from recipe development to checks during fermentation.

Beer Features

- An ale made with plenty of tankan
- A juicy design with juice added as well
- Mild acidity, with mandarin sweetness coming to the front
- A refreshing finish with freshness in mind

The name "Feelin' single" comes from a wordplay that reads tankan as "single view." The post also touches on the meaning of the phrase as English slang, giving it a relaxed, playful feel.

Sakazuki Brewing is known as a place in Kitasenju where you can enjoy craft beer and food, and it has continued operating with strong ties to the local community. For this release as well, it plans to prepare food pairings with a southern feel to match the tap date, so the appeal lies not only in the beer itself but also in how it works with the food.

Arriving as a spring seasonal release, "Feelin' single" is a beer that leaves an impression with its story-driven concept and bright citrus character. It is a newcomer worth remembering as a reason to choose your first pint in Kitasenju.
