Yokohama Beer will host its “27th ANNIVERSARY EVENT Anniversary Festival” at its UMAYA restaurant in Kannai, Yokohama, on November 3, 2026, from noon to 8 p.m. The annual celebration will once again offer the all-day beer package that proved popular at last year’s event.

The unlimited tasting ticket allows guests to enjoy more than 10 Yokohama Beer selections without a time limit between noon and 8 p.m. Advance tickets are priced at 3,500 yen and will be sold at the restaurant, while same-day tickets cost 4,000 yen. Guests without the package can purchase individual drinks for 600 yen, including soft drinks. The event will take place on the first and second floors of UMAYA at 6-68-1 Sumiyoshicho, Naka-ku, Yokohama.

A special 27th-anniversary beer will also be released for the occasion. All three current brewers happen to have been born on the 27th, inspiring them to collaborate on a recipe for the first time. The beer uses Merlot red grapes from Usadawinery in Chichibu, Saitama, and is designed to offer a floral aroma reminiscent of rosé wine with a crisp, dry finish. It reflects both the brewery’s 27-year history and the current brewing team’s new creative challenge.

Food will be available from noon, including takoyaki and yakitori. Former head brewer Yu Fukada will appear at a special booth from around 3 p.m., where he is scheduled to announce a new initiative with two members of Yokohama Fan Company. DJs Mahomes and KOM will also perform. A German folk music orchestra will take the stage from 6:30 p.m., followed by a large rock-paper-scissors tournament at 7:30 p.m.

Founded in 1999, Yokohama Beer is the local beer company with the longest history in Yokohama. Based in Yokohama and Kanagawa, it promotes craft beer that connects people and has earned recognition in international beer competitions. The brewery also works to strengthen Yokohama’s identity as a craft beer city. The anniversary festival offers an opportunity to experience both its beers and its community-focused approach in one setting.
