Yoho Brewing to launch Yoho Yona Yona Ale x Space Brothers can in Lawson stores
Yoho Brewing, based in Saku, Nagano, will release a limited-edition Yoho Yona Yona Ale can featuring Space Brothers at Lawson and Natural Lawson stores nationwide from mid-July. A portion of sales will support ALS research through the Serika Fund.

For the brewery, which operates its Saku brewery in Nagano Prefecture, the project connects its flagship beer with one of Japan's best-known manga series.
A design built around the moon
The can is designed to express the world of Space Brothers across both sides of the package. The front keeps the familiar Yona Yona Ale look and its everyday moon motif, while the back features an iconic emotional scene from the manga. The shared symbol of the moon ties the beer and the story together in a straightforward, visual way.
The timing also matters. Space Brothers is heading toward its final volume on July 22, 2026, while Yoho Brewing is marking 30 years since it began pursuing its goal of changing Japanese beer culture through craft beer. The collaboration brings those two long-running journeys into the same frame.
Sales will also support ALS research
A portion of sales from the collaboration can will be donated to the Serika Fund to support research into ALS causes and treatment. Yoho Brewing has continued its "Yona Yona for ALS" initiatives since 2017, so this is not a one-off charity gesture but part of an ongoing effort.
