June Business Hours

Canal brewing has announced the June business hours for its Oimachi location. It opens at 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, at 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays, and at 2:00 p.m. on Sundays and holidays, with no closing days during the month. It is easy to stop by after work on weekdays, and on weekends you can enjoy craft beer from the bright afternoon hours.

The shop is located at 1-26-4 Oi, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo. Within walking distance of Oimachi Station, it is known as a brewery that reflects the local atmosphere, with a name derived from the Katsushima Canal. The interior is a 15-seat standing bar, and only cashless payments are accepted. Strollers and children are welcome, which makes it another easy place to drop in casually.

On the drinks side, the bar focuses on craft beers from across Japan, offering 10 or more taps along with canned products. Because you can choose the size depending on your mood, it is easy to build your order from a first pint to a tasting lineup. The atmosphere also makes it easy to ask for beer recommendations, so even first-time visitors can choose with confidence.

The highlight in June is the CAMADO BREWERY Tap Take Over on Saturday, 6/13. A full lineup from CAMADO BREWERY, known for its anniversary beers, is expected to line the taps, so it should offer a tap selection different from the usual one. In addition, a guest event by the owner is scheduled for Sunday, 6/21, and Shanti Curry is also scheduled to operate on Tuesday, 6/23.

Looking further ahead, CRAFTBANK Tap Take Over, an appearance at FUJIROCK FESTIVAL 2026, and a Canal brewing Tap Take Over on Saturday, 8/8 are all already planned, so there will be plenty going on heading into summer. June is only the beginning; this is a brewery worth following for what comes next as well.
