Second collaboration with Tachihi Beer is tapped
Ishana Brewing (Akishima City, Tokyo) announced on Instagram on May 31 that it had started serving its second collaboration beer with Tachihi Beer. In the post, it explained that it aimed for a lager you’d want to casually drink while strolling through Showa Kinen Park, which spans Tachikawa and Akishima cities. A defining feature is its finish, which emphasizes the refreshing character of American hops.
Ishana Brewing operates a brewery and roastery about a 3-minute walk from the south exit of Akishima Station. According to its official website, it has been in operation since May 2018, brewing craft beer in-house using deep underground water from Akishima, with the appeal that guests can enjoy it on the spot. In addition to beer, it also serves coffee and food, giving it a broad range as a dining venue.
In this post, along with the collaboration beer announcement, the brewery also announced that a curry & pani puri event would be held the following day. It also listed in-store events scheduled for June 1, 13, 14, 27, and 28, creating more reasons to visit by combining beer service with event hosting. As a locally rooted brewery, it presented a drink that connects with the neighborhood’s scenery and the movement of people in the area.
