ISANA Brewing, a brewery and roastery in Akishima, Tokyo, has announced the release of two new canned beers. The lineup includes “惚鎧-NASHINOKAZE-,” a pear saison, and “Coffee Stout 出汁 HOLIC,” a dry stout built around coffee and dashi-inspired umami.

“惚鎧-NASHINOKAZE-” is listed as a PEAR SAISON with an ABV of 4.5% and 14 IBU. Its recipe is designed to highlight the character of pear in a light, refreshing saison format. “Coffee Stout 出汁 HOLIC” is a DRY STOUT with an ABV of 4.5% and 30 IBU, bringing together roasted malt, coffee, and savory dashi notes.

The two beers represent ISANA Brewing’s continuing interest in umami-driven brewing. Rather than focusing only on sweetness, bitterness, or hop aroma, the brewery explores how ingredients associated with food and coffee can create a broader, more savory drinking experience.

ISANA Brewing has operated its Brewery & Roastery since May 2018, using deep underground water from Akishima. Alongside its house-brewed beers, the venue serves roasted coffee and food, positioning itself as a place for hands-on experimentation and creative production. The brewery is about a three-minute walk from the south exit of JR Akishima Station. The new cans are available at the brewery, which also offers canned beer online and wholesale sales for cans and kegs.
