GW announcement

Beer Hall Kasugai (KUNITACHI BREWERY) announced its Golden Week "1926" special price campaign on Instagram. In the post, it said that because demand exceeded expectations and "1926" sold out, it would offer KUNITACHI BREWERY's "2026" at the special price as well.

The discount continues, not the same price

The posted serving prices were 700 yen for a pint, down from the regular 1,150 yen, and 1,150 yen for a beer mug, down from the regular 2,200 yen. Rather than simply announcing that it had run out of stock, the message carried the special pricing over to another popular flagship-level beer, extending the Golden Week pint to a different label.

About the venue

Beer Hall Kasugai is a beer pub in a residential neighborhood in Higashi, Kunitachi, Tokyo. Its strength is that you can enjoy draft beer from the adjacent KUNITACHI BREWERY as it is, and the official website says you can compare four kinds of beer. The calm, Japanese-modern space is designed so that food pairs easily with beer at the center.

What beer fans should note

KUNITACHI BREWERY's "1926" is one of the brewery's signature beers, named after the year the former Kunitachi Station building was completed. This post shows that the flagship label drew enough support to move during the holiday period. For anyone in Kunitachi who wants to compare the brewery's standard beers with its newer releases, this is a noteworthy update.
