CRAFT BEER BASE leaf at Grand Green Osaka in Osaka has released its tap list for May 30. In addition to its regular house-brewed beers, the lineup includes guest beers from Hokkaido, along with pairing suggestions for jingisukan.

The beer pub CRAFT BEER BASE leaf, located on the 2nd floor of the North Building at Grand Green Osaka, has released its tap list for May 30. Taking advantage of its location near the CRAFT BEER BASE brewery, the shop centers on freshly poured draft beer and also operates a bottle shop carrying cans and bottles from Japan and abroad. With a lineup designed around beer-and-food pairings, it is an easy place to use from lunch through dinner.
In that day's post, 14 labels were listed under "On Tap Today!!". The regular house beers included Ikeda Mikan Wit, BLONDE, PALE ALE, LAVENDER & CHAMOMILE, MIX JUICY 014, Red Ale, Belgian IPA, Wu-Xiang Red Ale, and Robust Porter. The range of flavors is broad, from a white beer made with mikan, to herbal golden ale, hazy IPA, and a porter with roasted character.
The guest taps are also worth noting. Hoppukotan Brewing's Kitsuneiro and Umemigachi, Brasserie Knot's FLOWER and MOON, and NORTH ISLAND BEER's CORIANDER BLACK are on the list, creating a lineup that evokes Hokkaido. As a bonus feature, the post also introduces Hokkaido's local dish jingisukan. The citrus-forward house-made sauce pairs well with pale ale and IPA, and the brewery notes that it also goes well with CORIANDER BLACK's roasted malt and coriander aroma.
Business hours are 11:00 to 23:00, and food L.O. is 22:00. Reservations are accepted from 11:00 to 21:00, making it suitable for everything from a quick solo drink to a meal. It is the kind of place in Umeda that makes sense when you want to look over the taps while moving between staples and guest beers.
