On Friday, April 24, from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., three taps were opened at Craft Beer Bar & Bottle Shop Progress in Musashi-Kosugi. The shop is located in a corner of Kosugimachi 3-chome within walking distance of the station, and its appeal lies in combining the casual feel of a beer bar with the selection of a bottle shop. In its compact interior, it is easy to try one glass at a time depending on your mood that day.

The lineup for the day consisted of three beers, all from domestic breweries with distinct personalities.

- Kinki Pale Ale ADHA-218 Single Ver. (Oni Densetsu Beer)
A pale ale brewed with the new hop variety ADHA-218. Berry- and mango-like aromas are layered with a firm bitterness, resulting in a beer that does not lean only on aromatic flair.
- Swheat & sour (Shiga Kogen Beer)
A wheat-based beer with a soft mouthfeel, enhanced by the aroma and acidity of the sour apple Bramley. It has a clean finish and seems like a good match for food. Pairing it with spicy dishes was also suggested.
- Tiger Kick (Yamorido)
A West Coast IPA with an impressive aroma reminiscent of citrus and pineapple, along with a dry finish. Its bitterness is clearly defined, and the fuller body reveals itself the more you drink.

Progress has become established as a place in Musashi-Kosugi where you can mainly enjoy domestic craft beer. This three-tap lineup also split clearly into directions: an aroma-forward pale ale, a wheat-based sour with acidity, and a classic hop-driven West Coast IPA, making it easy to build a tasting from the first glass of the day onward. In addition to bar service, takeout is also available, so you can choose whether to drink on-site or take it home and enjoy it later.
