Gogoshima Beer Farm, a craft brewery on Gogoshima Island in Matsuyama, Ehime, announced through its official Instagram that shipping will be suspended in September. Customers should check the brewery’s Instagram and online shop for the latest details, including how the suspension will affect orders and when shipping will resume.

The brewery operates from a renovated 150-year-old kominka, or traditional Japanese house. The brewing team moved from Yokohama to Gogoshima with their family in 2022 and now makes beers inspired by the island and the wider Setouchi region. Local citrus is a recurring feature, while the brewery also opens its taproom on weekends.

Its online shop offers a range of beers, including GOGOSHIMA LEMON IPA, a light and dry Session IPA made with Gogoshima lemons; Iyokan Lager and Iyokan IPA, which highlight the citrus character of local iyokan oranges; and Azahar de Iyokan, a seasonal Saison brewed with hand-picked iyokan flowers. Other selections include Rice Lager made with Matsuyama Mii rice, Coffee Amber Ale made with locally roasted coffee, and the non-alcoholic Island Free.

These beers offer a taste of Gogoshima’s agricultural landscape and Setouchi character, but September shipping restrictions mean that order timing is important. Customers considering variety packs or gifts should review the brewery’s official updates and confirm the shipping schedule and stock availability before placing an order.
