On Sunday, May 24, the brewpub "And Beer" in Koenji North will operate in conjunction with the Koenji Apartment Marche. During the day, it will take on a style different from normal business hours, with the interior run as a cash-on food-court setup. In the evening, it will switch back to regular service, and seat reservations will be available.

The two main beers available that day are "Traveling WIPA," brewed as the first batch at the Yamanashi brewery, and "Adiron 2024 (ADIRONDACK 2024)," made with Adirondack grapes. The former is a DDH-WIPA using Citra and Amarillo, and is characterized by citrus notes from the hops and a nicely malty drinking profile. The latter is a fruit ale that brings out the aroma of the grapes, with a clean finish from American yeast.

Eight taps will be on hand, along with around 20 bottled beers, so there should be plenty of fun in sampling different brews. The event also mentions growler takeout, so it seems like you'll be able to enjoy your favorite beers slowly at home as well.

On the food side, biryani will also be available this time. It will be a limited-quantity menu combining oysters and lamb keema, designed with beer and spice dishes in mind. In addition, there will be a POP UP from the sister shop "olla (Oja)," as well as the familiar "dosa.ghar." In the atmosphere of Koenji Apartment as a place to live, it looks set to be a day where beer, food, and goods naturally blend together.
