Iwami Bakushu is a brewpub in Gotsu, Shimane, known for small-batch beers shaped by local ingredients. The brewery’s compact, variety-driven approach gives the brand its character, and this new post highlights the third event built around its local specialty, Bakushu Lamb.

The event centers on biryani preparation. While the rice cooks, guests can enjoy unlimited freshly brewed craft beer at the JR station venue. Once the biryani is ready, it serves as the closing dish of the evening. The post also says citrus squash will be available, so the drinking side of the event is not limited to beer alone.

Bakushu Lamb is tied to a regional effort that uses spent grain to raise sheep for food, linking brewing and agriculture in a practical way. The post also notes that fireflies are gradually returning around the station area. The event is planned primarily outdoors, with rain in mind, and limited to 20 guests, making it a close-knit local gathering built around fresh beer, food, and place.
