Noroshi Brewery, based in Nagareyama Otakanomori in Chiba, has announced a new beer called Noroshi IPA. It is brewed only once a year in the Juicy IPA / Hazy IPA lane, and the brewery says it will not be sold in bottles. Within Noroshi's ongoing IPA series, which keeps the same name while changing the recipe and approach, this release is framed as a particularly modern take on the style.

Flavor profile

In the glass, it shows a pale yellow color with a soft haze. The aroma is bright and tropical, with mango, pineapple, orange, and ripe citrus notes. The oats lend a smooth mouthfeel, while bitterness stays in the background so the hop aroma can lead. At 6.7% ABV, it is substantial without feeling heavy.
