At the beer pub Taru Taru in Kawaramachi, Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture, `Moon Calendar` by Wakayama's NOMCRAFT Brewing has arrived. In an Instagram post, it was introduced as a West Coast IPA brewed in collaboration with `Aslan Brewing Company`, and the aroma reminiscent of passion fruit, white grape, and citrus, along with a sharp, clean finish, were cited as standout impressions.

Taru Taru is a casual beer pub where the taps are visible from outside. All five taps pour domestic craft beer, several of them from Kagawa Prefecture, making it an approachable spot for local drinkers. You can relax with a drink at the counter made of zelkova wood or at the tables in the back, and it's also a place where you can stop by for a quick standing drink outside.

`Moon Calendar` is built on a base of pilsner malt and combines Nelson Sauvin, Idaho 7, and Simcoe. The explanation that it raises the sulfate ratio compared with NOMCRAFT's usual approach to aim for a crisper finish shows that this is a beer mindful not only of hop aroma but also the outline of the aftertaste. Including the fact that this is NOMCRAFT's first appearance at Taru Taru, it is the kind of release that's easy for people looking for hop-forward IPAs to check out.
