Four beers on tap

Chiitoko Shouten, known as a shop for dagashi sweets, beer, and coffee, will serve four craft beers on tap on October 23 from 10:00 to 22:00. Located in Shimosuwa, Nagano, the beer pub also offers coffee and a selection of baked goods, making it a casual stop for both beer drinkers and coffee lovers.

The lineup includes Albrecht, a 6.0% Märzen from FLORA FERMENTATION in Higashiomi, Shiga; Koni Pale Ale – Galaxy ver., a 5.5% Pale Ale from Onidensetsu Beer in Noboribetsu, Hokkaido; Apple Hop – Shinano Sweet, a 6.5% Fruit Ale from Minami-Shinshu Beer in Miyada, Nagano; and Imperial Red Ale, a 6.5% Double Red Ale from Ise Kadoya Beer in Ise, Mie.

Albrecht is a malt-forward Märzen suited to slow sipping. Koni Pale Ale – Galaxy ver. highlights the aromatic character of Galaxy hops. Apple Hop – Shinano Sweet combines beer with the fruity character of the Shinano Sweet apple variety, while Imperial Red Ale offers a richer, darker red ale profile.

The shop’s coffee selection includes a latte, and food options include sausage rolls, banana bread, chocolate banana bread, whole-wheat scones, chilled chocolate brownies, shortbread cookies, oatmeal chocolate-chip cookies, cream ice cream, and spiced carrot tarts. Payments are made in advance by cash or PayPay. Visitors can enjoy the four taps alongside coffee and baked treats while exploring Shimosuwa.
