HOP MAN, a craft beer pub in Chigasaki, Kanagawa, has announced the new tapping of 鬼角IPA Seta Ver.
The beer is a collaboration between Noboribetsu Jibeer Onidensetsu and Ise Kadoya Brewery. While Onidensetsu has previously produced collaborations with Deguchi, this release was brewed with Seta, the head of the Ise Kadoya brewery.
Brewed in a West Coast IPA style, 鬼角IPA Seta Ver. comes in at 7.5% ABV and 70 IBU. According to the brewery’s post, the recipe was designed with a darker color, firm bitterness, and a substantial drinking experience in line with Seta’s preferences.
The main hop selection includes KRUSH, Simcoe, and Comet, chosen by Seta, with Citra also used to connect the hop profile. The beer should appeal to drinkers looking for a assertive IPA with pronounced bitterness, hop character, and a fuller body rather than a light, easy-drinking pint.
Located on the second floor of Sunraizu Shonan in Chigasaki, HOP MAN is a beer pub where guests can explore a rotating selection of craft beer on tap. The new collaboration offers local beer enthusiasts an opportunity to experience a limited-release IPA at the point of its fresh draft service. Availability may change, so checking with the pub before visiting is recommended.
