Koshien Outfield Brewery to hold 4th Beer Run indoors on July 26
Koshien Outfield Brewery (KOB) will host its 4th Beer Run on Sunday, July 26. For this midsummer edition, the event moves indoors as a “non-running” Beer Run, combining a running workshop with free-flowing craft beer in a format that should welcome beginners.
Koshien Outfield Brewery (KOB), a craft brewery in Nishinomiya, Hyogo, near Hanshin Koshien Stadium, will host its 4th Beer Run on Sunday, July 26 from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Because the event is taking place in midsummer, this edition will be held indoors as a "non-running" Beer Run, pairing a running workshop with free-flowing craft beer.
The first half, from 9:00 to 10:30, will be led by trainer Yoshida and focuses on care and conditioning, including body maintenance, recovery, and injury prevention. From 10:30 to noon, participants can enjoy all KOB beers on tap. The format is designed to be accessible even for people who are new to running.
Participation is priced at 4,500 yen for the workshop plus drinks. A Beer Run T-shirt ticket is available for 1,500 yen, with the application deadline set for July 10. Brewery tours are available on request. Capacity is limited to 20 people, and the event will be held rain or shine. For a brewery built next to one of Japan's most famous ballparks, it is a fitting way to connect sport, beer, and local community.
