Beerbar Festa Shimokitazawa taps Hazama × Yorocco Beer 'Compass'
Beerbar Festa Shimokitazawa has added a new tap, Hazama × Yorocco Beer 'Compass.' The plum fruit saison joins a lineup that spans Japanese and imported craft beers on the pub's multi-tap system.
Beerbar Festa Shimokitazawa, a craft-beer pub on the fifth floor of the Daisin Building near Shimokitazawa Station, posted a tap update for August 8. The new pour is Hazama × Yorocco Beer 'Compass,' a fruit saison brewed with plum and presented as a good match for hot weather.
The domestic lineup for the day includes Shonan Beer 'Shonan Beer IPA American Style,' Hojo 'Stout,' Yokohama Beer 'Weizen,' Setouchi 'Dunkel,' T.Y. Harbor 'Kanpai West Coast Pilsner,' and the regular Heartland. Imported taps feature Revision 'Revision DIPA,' Du Du Ciel 'Moralite,' Division 'Disco Ninja IPA,' and DDC! 'Rosé Diviscus,' giving the bar a wide range from IPA to stout and lager styles.
Festa's appeal is its straightforward beer-bar format: multiple taps, a central Shimokitazawa location, and a roster that makes side-by-side comparisons easy. The post also notes that through the end of August, Thursday to Saturday service runs until the 4 o'clock slot, making it a late-night stop for drinkers moving through the tap list.
