On March 9, KOMATSU BREWING announced on its official Instagram account that it would be setting up a booth at the craft beer event "Craft Beer Marche in NANTO2026," to be held in Nanto City, Toyama Prefecture, and described it as its "first out-of-prefecture booth."

The event details shared in the post are as follows.

- Event name: Craft Beer Marche in NANTO2026
- Date and time: Saturday, April 4, 2026, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Venue: Oyabe River Park (Fukumitsu, Nanto City, Toyama Prefecture)

The post also said that this edition will be held as a Noto support initiative, and that the number of participating vendors is expected to be larger than last time. It looks set to become a place where breweries and food vendors from across the Hokuriku area gather, further encouraging cross-regional craft beer exchange.

According to its official website, Komatsu Brewing grand opened on November 8, 2025 as the first craft beer brewery in Komatsu City, Ishikawa. Based in a taproom renovated from a historic house called "Komatsu Machiya," the brewery has been producing beers that make use of Hokuriku water and local ingredients, while also taking part in events and community projects. This out-of-prefecture appearance marks its first step toward expanding its activities beyond Ishikawa.

What kind of pint will this new brewery from Ishikawa pour at an outdoor event that overlaps with Toyama's cherry blossom season? For craft beer fans in Hokuriku, it seems like a great chance to taste and compare beers on site.
