Komatsu Brewing will take part in the 5th Umasugi Ipponsugi event on November 3, 2026, at Ipponsugi Street in Nanao, Ishikawa. Held from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the event is free to enter.
Umasugi Ipponsugi focuses on Noto and Nanao’s food culture, bringing selected foods and local makers together along the historic shopping street. Its theme is a food-centered encounter with Noto, making craft beer a natural addition to the lineup.
Based in Komatsu, Ishikawa, Komatsu Brewing operates a brewery and craft beer bar in a traditional machiya-style building about an eight-minute walk from Komatsu Station. According to its official website, the brewery uses local ingredients from Komatsu and Hokuriku water to create beers in a range of seasonal styles.
The brewery officially opened on November 8, 2025, as Komatsu City’s first brewery focused on craft beer production and sales. Alongside its own beers, it serves a rotating selection of craft beer and offers non-alcoholic options such as KOMBUCHA, as well as soft drinks.
The event will offer an opportunity to experience how Komatsu beer pairs with the food and flavors of Noto. Details such as the beers available at the Komatsu Brewing booth have not yet been announced.
