Minoh Beer’s High Kara Pils Opens at Osaka Beer Pub Pogojiro
At Beer Pub Pogojiro in Osaka’s Chuo ward, Minoh Beer’s High Kara Pils has just gone on tap. The 14-beer lineup spans Japanese craft, imported guest beers, and a crisp pilsner that should fit the summer heat well.
Beer Pub Pogojiro in Osaka’s Andoji-cho area has introduced a new tap: Minoh Beer’s High Kara Pils. In the post, the brewery describes it as an Italian pilsner with soft malt character, elegant and rounded hop aroma, a clean finish, and gentle bitterness. It is presented as a beer that goes down especially well as the weather turns hotter.
The day’s tap list features 14 beers in total. Japanese craft options include Coffee IPA / Minoh Beer, Lactose Dependence / Kyoto Brewing, Nishi Oni Higashi Oni IPA / Onidensetsu, Hassaku Ale / Shima Brewery, Sennosake ni Natte / Ushitora Brewery, Double Furin / Ushitora Brewery, and High Kara Pils / Minoh Beer. Guest and imported selections also stand out: FINGER FOOD / Hop Butcher For The World, Red Rose Amber Ale / Baird Beer, Opacity / AMAKUSA SONAR BEER, GOLDEN SLICE / BLADE FACTORY BREWING, Mosaic/Superdelic WEST COAST IPA / CHORYO Craft Beer, and GUINNESS NITRO ver / Diageo. The range covers IPA, amber ale, fruit beer, pilsner, and stout, making it easy to build a tasting flight.
The bar opens at 6 p.m. on weekdays, 3 p.m. on Saturdays, and 3 p.m. on Sundays and holidays. With set menus and course options also available, it works well for a relaxed beer-focused night in the Tanimachi area.
