NORTH ISLAND BEER is a brewery that began with a brewer who trained in Canada, and it continues to make beer based in Ebetsu, Hokkaido. Its official website says the brewery is also focusing on wheats such as a weizen made with wheat from Ebetsu, as well as limited beers that make use of Hokkaido ingredients. Spring is a season when factory direct sales, the directly managed store, and event appearances overlap, so it should be an especially easy time for drinkers to experience a North Island beer at a nearby location.
