Craftbeer Sloth House in Tarumachi, Kohoku Ward, Yokohama, has announced its Saturday tap list. The pub is open from 12:00 to 23:00 and operates as a standing bar. Beer is served in plastic cups, payment is cash-only, and no food is prepared on site. Guests may bring their own food and are asked to take their food waste home.
The lineup begins with Yokohama Bay Brewing’s Saaz 419, a Czech-style pale lager. Teenage Brewing contributes Sonar Aid, a juicy IPA, while And Beer offers Back home, a West Coast IPA. West Coast Brewing’s Vandal brings a hazy pale ale style to the list.
Local flavor continues with Yokohama Beer’s Yokohama Kohoku Fresh Hop Ale, a pale ale. Open Air’s blood orange gose adds citrus character and tartness as a fruited gose. Shiga Kogen Beer’s 一挙両得 is a Hazy Belgian IPA, and Minoh Beer’s 桃ヴァイツェン(白鳳Ver.) rounds out the list with a peach-infused fruit weizen.
The peach weizen is also available in bottles, although beer cannot be taken home directly from the keg. With styles ranging from crisp lager and hop-forward IPAs to tart and fruit-driven beers, Sloth House offers plenty of variety for a relaxed standing-bar tasting in Yokohama.
