Beer O'clock in Chiba opens three new guest taps for Marine Day
Beer O'clock, a beer pub in Chiba, announced a July 20 all-day service and three new guest taps: one each from Oni Densetsu, Iwate Kura Beer, and IWAI BREWERY. The post also previews an August 2 event.
Beer O'clock, a beer pub in Chuo Ward, Chiba, shared its Marine Day update with three guest beers on tap. The pub ran continuous service from noon to 10 p.m. on July 20, while also updating its rotating lunch pasta, keeping the focus on a relaxed, beer-and-food friendly setup.
New taps
- Oni Densetsu "Kinoni Pale Ale Strata Single Ver.": American Pale Ale, 5.5%. A hop-forward pale ale with tropical notes, plus passion fruit, mango, and citrus. The bitterness is firm, but the overall balance stays smooth.
- Iwate Kura Beer "Japanese Herb Ale Sansho": Herbed Ale, 5.0%. Brewed with sansho berries from Iwate's Ichinoseki area, this beer leans spicy and citrusy, with a distinctive herbal edge.
- IWAI BREWERY "IWAI LAGER": International Session Pilsner, 4.5%. A golden lager brewed with soft water, offering a clean, crisp finish and subtle hints of hinoki and flowers.
The lineup reflects Beer O'clock's practical pub style: a hop-driven pale ale, a herb-accented specialty beer, and a clean lager to round things out. The post also notes that Crisp! will return on August 2 at 3:00 p.m., adding another food-friendly reason to keep the date in mind.
