Midori-boshi returns to tap

OGA BREWING COMPANY in Mitaka, Tokyo announced on Instagram that its Kölsch-style beer, Midori-boshi, is back on tap. In the post, the brewery describes it as a beer for hot summer days and notes that it is also available in cans, making it easy to enjoy away from the taproom as well.

Crisp, malt-driven, and light

According to the brewery’s official product page, Midori-boshi is brewed by fermenting ale yeast slowly at a low temperature, resulting in a crisp finish. It has an ABV of 4.0% and an IBU of 20. The beer is built to highlight grain aroma and malt character while keeping the drinkability that suits warmer weather.
