Yokohama Bay Brewing Kannai Honten posts salmon fry special and 14-slot tap list
In its August 18 post, Yokohama Bay Brewing Kannai Honten announced its 4 p.m. opening and highlighted the day’s special, Salmon Fry with house-made tartar. The tap list centered on the brewery’s own beers, spanning pilsners, lagers, wheat beers, and IPAs.
Yokohama Bay Brewing Kannai Honten is a direct-run beer pub, about a 4-minute walk from JR Kannai Station and 2 minutes from Subway Kannai Station. One of its biggest draws is tasting freshly brewed beer straight from the brewery.
In the August 18 post, the shop noted hours of 16:00-23:00 and featured the day’s special, "Salmon Fry with House-Made Tartar." The dish uses thick Norwegian salmon, fried until crisp, and served with a house-made tartar sauce made with pickles, making it an easy match for beer.
The day’s BEER MENU had 14 slots. Listed beers included Bay Pilsner, Bay Pilsner Harataw Edition, Tag Lager, Bay Dark, Bay Weiss, Yuzu Weiss, BAY HELL, Weekend Journey, Pilsner Northern Style, Heavy Climb, Sprint IPA, Steel Soul Fixie, and Team Up IPA, with slot 11 marked as Coming soon...
The brewery’s flagship Bay Pilsner carries a World Beer Cup 2025 gold note, while Yuzu Weiss is marked with World Beer Cup 2024 gold and World Beer Cup 2025 silver. The lineup shows a clear range from clean lagers to hop-forward IPAs, making this a strong stop for anyone looking for Yokohama-made craft beer in Kannai.
