The beer pub “...04&Beer,” located in the Furumachi area of Niigata, is known as a place where you can enjoy craft beer from across Japan on draft and as real ale. In this post, the shop noted the fine weather and announced the latest tap list update.

The lineup for the day was `Heller Weizenbock / Plank Brewery (Bavaria)`, `Amber Swan Ale / Swan Lake Beer (Niigata)`, `Purple Sky Pale Ale / Y.MARKET BREWING (Aichi)`, `Baby Blonde Miyama / Shiga Kogen Beer (Nagano)`, and `MINOHBEER PALE ALE (Real Ale) / Minoh Beer (Osaka)`. From German-style wheat beers to a local brewery pale ale and a light blonde ale, it was a well-balanced selection with plenty of range.

Of particular note is the appearance of Minoh Beer’s PALE ALE listed as a real ale. Since this is a style whose impression changes depending on how it is poured, it is the kind of beer that makes you want to keep drinking while noticing the differences in aroma and mouthfeel.

The food selection featured `fresh bamboo shoot rice onigiri`, served with `grilled mackerel` and `kohoke no shir-ae` (wild carrot greens in tofu dressing). It is just right for nibbling lightly while working through a few glasses, and it works well for a drink after work or a weekend detour. In addition to the counter, the interior also has table seating in the back, making it comfortable for solo drinking or for a small group. The post noted a 5:00 p.m. opening, giving the impression that it was an easy place to stop by for the first drink of the evening.
