At Craft Beer Bar & Bottle Shop Progress in Musashi-Kosugi, the guest beers for Saturday, April 18 have been announced. This lineup features two beers: Ise Kadoya Brewery’s “Niku Kyu IPA” and NOMCRAFT Brewing’s “Mystic Tiger”. The shop is located in Kosugi-cho, Nakahara Ward, Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, and is open from 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on weekends and holidays.
“Niku Kyu IPA” is a beer with the crispness typical of a West Coast IPA, layered with citrus and pine notes plus a tropical aroma. It has a bright aroma and moderate bitterness, and the post presents it as designed to pair easily with meat dishes. As a beer commemorating ISEKADO’s 29th anniversary, it is likely to attract the attention of craft beer fans.
Meanwhile, “Mystic Tiger” is a Hazy IPA blended with multiple hops. Its characteristics are a refreshing mango-lemonade-like quality and a rounded sweetness reminiscent of fruit salad, and its alcohol content is 7.0%. With a good balance of richness and drinkability, it could also serve as a benchmark for IPA fans who want to compare styles.
Progress is a beer pub that accepts cashless payments only, and pets are welcome on the outdoor seats. There is also information about leash hooks, which gives it an easygoing, drop-in-friendly atmosphere. It seems like the perfect place to slowly compare the two guest beers from an early hour on the weekend.
