Where music met beer

On August 15, TOWER RECORDS BEER Shibuya hosted 'HALF TAP TAKE OVER' to mark the release of the collaboration beer 'DREAM HOP.' The entire floor was devoted to vinyl, and guests browsed records while enjoying craft beer to a DJ selection from Caghiya Record. It was a day where music and beer flowed naturally together.

The featured beer

The main beer was 'DREAM HOP', a Berliner Weisse brewed with Tower Records at 3.0% ABV. Built around a peach theme inspired by dream pop, it offers bright acidity, a soft peach aroma, and a light, easygoing finish. It was designed as a beer to enjoy alongside music, not overpower it.

What Caghiya Brewery is known for

Based in Kawasaki, Caghiya Brewery operates as a brewpub with a hands-on approach. At its direct venues, guests can use self-tapping to pour their own beer and sample different styles at their own pace. At CAGHIYA TAP ROOM, which sits alongside the brewery, freshly brewed beer can be enjoyed from lunch through dinner, often with pizza or fish burgers. That local, music-friendly character came through clearly in this event as well.
