Titans Craft Beer Taproom in Otsuka, Tokyo, has published its May operating calendar. The post notes that the shop will be closed on Tuesday, May 5 and Wednesday, May 6. During Golden Week, it is also encouraging visitors to attend Craft Beer Invitational at TOKYO MIDTOWN, held at Tokyo Midtown from Monday, May 4, 2026 (national holiday) to Tuesday, May 5, 2026 (national holiday).
This event is a beer festival organized by West Coast Brewing (WCB) and AQ Bevolution. According to official Tokyo Midtown information, 16 breweries are scheduled to participate. The lineup is broad, ranging from lager styles and IPA styles to rare Wild Card selections that you do not often get to try, making it a relaxed setup for drinking on the lawn plaza.
Titans' main location is a beer pub and taproom in Minami-Otsuka 3-chome. On its official site, it is presented as having 12 permanent taps, bottle sales, guest taps, and AQ Gyoza as the core of the shop. Beer is served in a dedicated goblet, so it is a place suited less to flashiness and more to carefully enjoying aroma and temperature.
The in-store events for the second half of May are as follows.
- 5/15 (Fri) and 5/16 (Sat): Lager Fest
A lager event held with the rooftop open. Details will be announced later.
- 5/22 (Fri): GEORGE COCKLE'S LAZY FRIDAY
A monthly request-based DJ event.
- 5/23 (Sat): ZAMAKEN BD Event
A birthday event for staff member Zamaken. Yuri's special hot dogs and special beer are planned.
- Every Tuesday: TITAN TUESDAY
Titan-size drinks are 300 yen off.
- Every Thursday: Stand Up Comedy
English stand-up comedy is held.
May connects Golden Week outside events with in-store lager plans, DJs, and a birthday event. With its location just a short walk from the south exit of Otsuka Station, it looks like a month that makes it easy to drop in for a drink after work or visit with an event in mind.
