Shiga-based Nagahama Roman Beer Brewery announced the launch of its limited-edition release, "Sakura Gose." According to the post, the release date is March 24. This batch is a collaboration project brewed together with Abbot's Choice Ikebukuro East Exit store in Tokyo's Ikebukuro area.

"Sakura Gose" is defined by its use of sakura salt added to the traditional German gose style. Built on gose's light tartness and saltiness, it aims to layer in a springlike Japanese nuance, making it a seasonal limited release with a distinctive character.

On the distribution side, draft service has already begun in advance at Abbot's Choice Ikebukuro East Exit store and affiliated locations. In addition, the main outlets listed are Liquor Mountain, the Nagahama Roman Beer storefront, and the brewery's online shop. For restaurants and business accounts, a purchasing route via Best Beer Japan has also been provided.

Based in Shiga, Nagahama Roman Beer Brewery continues to make craft beer with local roots. Its appeal lies not only in its standard lineup, but also in the way it showcases a broad range of styles through seasonal projects and collaborations. As an early spring beer, this is one to check for how it incorporates Japanese ingredients into gose, including its aroma and finish.
