Shinjuku’s local beer bar Marumugi lines up five draft beers from Akita to Nagano on April 22
The beer pub "Local Beer Bar Marumugi" in Arakicho, Shinjuku Ward, has released its craft beer lineup for April 22. Five labels that showcase regional character, including HOPDOG BREWING and Ise Kadoya Beer, are on tap.
At the small beer pub "Local Beer Bar Marumugi" in Arakicho, Shinjuku, the draft lineup for April 22 was announced. Prices are large 1,200 yen + tax, small 900 yen + tax. Inside, you can compare five different beers with distinct flavor profiles, from light to toasty to fruity.

- Golden Dragon / Ise Kadoya Beer 4.0% +100 yen
- Hima Bitter / Minami Shinshu Beer (Nagano) 4.0% +100 yen
Looking at the lineup, the styles range across saison, wit, and bitter, making it easy to choose according to your mood, from a crisp glass to one with a toasty character. For example, "39 OTAMA SAISON" is described as having a light, dry finish, while "Wheat King Wit" leans fruity and refreshing. "Golden Dragon" puts its aroma front and center, and "Hima Bitter" is introduced as a light, springtime bitter.
Marumugi is a beer bar that opened in 2011, located on the 2nd floor of Ichibankan Building at 1 Arakicho, Shinjuku Ward. It is a 3-minute walk from Yotsuya-Sanchome Station on the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line, making it easy to stop by after work. Note that Tuesdays and public holidays have been closed days since December 5, 2024. There is also an announcement that some public holidays during the Golden Week period will be treated as special business days, so it is wise to confirm in advance if visiting on a holiday.
