Beto Coco Brewing in Awara, Fukui, has unveiled a new collaboration with SATOYAMA WORKS, a trail-running specialist based in Echizen. The beer will be released in cans from Sept. 3, and the style is Hazy Pale Ale.

The brew is described as having complex aromatics with notes of orange and stone fruit, with a fruity and juicy profile. It comes in at 5.0% ABV and 8 IBU, keeping bitterness low while highlighting hop character. The recipe uses Pilsner and Wheat malts, with Nectaron and Galaxy hops.

As a brewery rooted in Awara, Beto Coco Brewing continues to expand its range through collaborations with makers from different fields. In this release, the connection to SATOYAMA WORKS brings an outdoor, trail-running perspective into the beer’s design, adding another layer to the brewery’s local but outward-looking approach.
