On Saturday, May 30, Arinomi Brewery, based in Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture, will open a booth at the “Carotta Marche” held at Funabashi Racecourse in Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture. In an Instagram announcement, the brewery said it would serve draft beer in plastic cups and prepare a four-beer tasting set. It will not sell bottled beer, and because you cannot drink if you come by car, the brewery is urging visitors to use public transportation.

Carotta Marche is a market-and-flea-market event held at Funabashi Racecourse, featuring vegetables, sweets, local specialties, workshops, and more. The venue is Funabashi Racecourse (1-2-1 Wakamatsu, Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture), and the event runs from 10:00 to 14:30. As the name suggests, the event is designed so visitors can enjoy shopping and eating at the same time.

Arinomi Brewery is a beer factory in Ichikawa City. It obtained licenses to produce beer and happoshu in March 2024, began making beer from Ichikawa ingredients in May of that year, and started sales in June. Its regular lineup includes “IPA Made with Beets” and “New Local Saison,” and it continues brewing with local ingredients. At this booth as well, visitors should be able to taste a beer that reflects the brewery’s community-focused character.
