Collaboration Beer Delivered at the Stadium

Craft Ale Chigira reported on Instagram that it held a collaboration beer sale in conjunction with the home match between Thespakusatsu Gunma and Tochigi CITY at Shoda Shoyu Stadium Gunma. In the post, the brewery described it as a "collaboration beer made possible thanks to lots of support," expressed gratitude for the cooperation, and urged everyone to try it at least once.

Building on Its Journey as a Kiryu-Based Brewery

Craft Ale Chigira is a brewery based in Kiryu City, Gunma Prefecture. According to its official website, it obtained its brewing license in June 2024 and began brewing, then started product sales in August of the same year. It uses groundwater from Mount Akagi and primarily employs American ingredients for its malt, hops, and yeast. Its lineup includes India Pale Ale, Hazy, India Black Ale, and Stout, and its beers are characterized by a design that brings hop aroma and bitterness to the fore.

A Beer to Enjoy Alongside the Match

On its official website, the brewery promotes the idea that "Beer is not just about the aftertaste! ~Color, aroma, bitterness~." Sales at the stadium like this one are positioned as an effort to create opportunities for people to experience craft beer in a live-match setting. As local sports and a hometown brewery come together, this could become one example of how the enjoyment of beer expands.
