NEIGHBOR, a beer pub in Nogata, Nakano, Tokyo, posted its current tap list on Instagram. Eight beers are on offer, and the lineup starts with a collaboration beer that stands out immediately: "Pyracantha" with VERTERE, described as an NZ Pale Ale. Kyoto Brewing’s "Tokimeki Netsu Shisen" is a Tropical IPA, PAINT PALETTE BREWING’s "Rain Afterglow" is a farmhouse ale with ginger, red shiso, and amanatsu peel, and Nara Brewing’s "ENNUI" is a brown ale with azuki and condensed milk.

The rest of the board keeps the range wide. AND BEER’s "Black Swallow" is an oatmeal stout, NUDE BEER’s "AMATSUKAZE" is a West Coast Lager with Kitayama cedar, FLORA FERMENTATION’s "Witte Wieven" is a White IPA, and NEIGHBOR x CYCADBREWING’s "HOT BLOOD IPA" brings a West Coast IPA finish. From lighter lager character to malt-driven dark beer and hop-forward IPA, it is a lineup that invites tasting across styles.

The food list also looks beer-friendly, with chilled tantan noodles, beef tendon stew with harissa, a Genoese salt dog, tuna and fig carpaccio, and vongole bianco among the options. For a relaxed night in Nogata, it is the kind of tap list that makes it easy to pair a few beers with a proper meal.
