Tokyo Aleworks to Hold 8th Anniversary Event at Its Itabashi Main Taproom on March 6 and 7
Tokyo Aleworks (Tokyo) announced on March 3 that it will hold an 8th anniversary event at its Itabashi main taproom over two days, March 6 and 7. In addition to anniversary-only beers, the lineup will feature a concentrated pouring of the Tokyo Landmark Series, the release of a new beer in the final 12th installment, and limited food and merchandise plans.
Details of the 8th anniversary event were revealed on the official Instagram account of Tokyo Aleworks' taproom, based in Itabashi, Tokyo (posted at 6:41 p.m. on March 3).
According to the post, the venue is Tokyo Aleworks Taproom Itabashi Main Store. The event will be held for two days, Friday, March 6 and Saturday, March 7, and will feature anniversary-only beer as well as a special lineup available only during those two days.
The centerpiece this time is the Tokyo Landmark Series on tap, including the popular Asakusa Mosaic IPA. The announcement also said a new beer, the final 12th installment in the series, is scheduled to be tapped, making this a milestone moment for fans who have followed the series.
For food and merchandise, plans include the limited-edition food item Pizza Logs, 100-yen gacha capsules, anniversary goods, and merchandise sets. The setup is designed to let visitors enjoy the taproom experience with more than just beer.
On the brewery's official website, the company says it opened its brewery in Itabashi in 2018 and has operated under the slogan "Be The Craft Revolution." The Itabashi main store operates as the taproom attached to the brewery and serves mainly beers brewed in-house.
The 8th anniversary event is positioned as a way to look back on the brewery's path from Itabashi while also marking the culmination of the Tokyo Landmark Series. If you want to get the limited taps for this milestone, it's best to plan an early visit.
