Tap List for May 30

At Beer Bar Festa Shimokitazawa, Shiga Kogen Beer’s “Snow Monkey IPA Silver Label ver.” was newly tapped as of the start of business on Saturday, May 30. It is a different version from the Snow Monkey served until recently, and it is being promoted for its bright aroma and dry finish.

On the Japanese taps that day were Derailler Brewing’s “Anonymous Brewholic Revolution,” Yokohama Beer’s “Seya Wheat Beer,” Repubrew’s “Saburo Session Hazy IPA” and “Ageage Same Age,” Hansharo Beer’s “Coco Farm & Winery White,” Beer Hearn’s “Enmusubi Beer Real Ale ver.,” and Setouchi’s “Cherry & Strawberry Sour,” along with the regular “Heartland.”

International labels included Threes Brewing’s “Good Bad News,” De Dulle Cieyl’s “Sentinel,” and Threes’s “Fool’s Erland.” The lineup lets you move back and forth between Japanese and overseas beers, making it a good choice for anyone who wants to compare styles.

The shop is on the fifth floor of a building near Shimokitazawa Station, and one of its features is that you can enjoy darts alongside craft beer. The post notes that because it is open on Saturdays, last call is at 4, making it easy to stay late into the night. It also announced that the shop will celebrate its 9th anniversary on June 9, with an anniversary party and the unveiling of the anniversary beer on June 7, plus an announcement for an anniversary trio tournament on June 21.

It is a Shimokitazawa-style beer pub that suits both a casual stop for just one drink and a longer stay paired with darts.
