The Craft Beer Sakaba Citra Bar, which operates near Koenji Station with craft beer at its core, announced two new guest beers.

The lineup this time stands out for its citrus-forward character. The first beer, Yuzu Weizen, is described as combining the fruity aroma typical of a weizen with yuzu notes, resulting in a light, easy-drinking profile. It should suit people who want to enjoy the aroma as it opens up, or those looking to pair it with food and keep the glasses coming.

The second beer is Karl Strauss Mosaic Session IPA. The post describes a relatively low-ABV beer with grapefruit-like aroma, citrus and tropical fruit flavors, and a light mouthfeel derived from wheat. True to the session IPA style, it is an easy choice for days when you want a balance of aroma and drinkability rather than bitterness alone.

The shop is located at 1F Canyon Plaza Osuga, 2-22-6 Koenjikita, Suginami-ku, Tokyo. As a beer pub close to the station, it is open not only on weekday evenings but also from daytime on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, making it a place where you can enjoy craft beer early on weekends. The post also mentions increased reservations during the three-day holiday, so it is reassuring to call ahead if you want to avoid busy times.

The store also shared in-house notices for business on March 30, the "Citran" event scheduled for April 5, and the 7th anniversary event planned for April 11 to 12. Starting with these two newly opened taps, it looks like the pleasure of choosing a glass in springtime Koenji is set to expand.
