BEERKICHI on April 12

The beer pub BEERKICHI in Watanabe-dori, Fukuoka, will open on Sunday, April 12 at 1:00 p.m. and close at midnight. In the post, three beers from Fukuoka's NEKOBEER were introduced as "New on Tap."

Today's taps

- NEKOBEER / Pils nyaa! - Pilsner / abv 5.0% / Fukuoka
- NEKOBEER / Original Neko Shogo! - session IPA / abv 4.5% / Fukuoka
- NEKOBEER / Patisserie Nyankoro ~Strawberry Ganache Cake Stout~ - Imperial stout / abv 10.0% / Fukuoka

The lineup ranges from a light, easy-drinking pilsner and session IPA to a rich, full-bodied pour. If you want something refreshing, start with Pils nyaa!; if you want to check the balance of aroma and drinkability, go for Original Neko Shogo!; and if you want to spend some time with it, the 10.0% Patisserie Nyankoro ~Strawberry Ganache Cake Stout~ is the one to watch.

On the food side, tongue sashimi, liver sashimi, and heart sashimi were featured, along with Tomasura, a tomato salad packed with seasonings, as a popular item. More than just beer, being able to enjoy it with snacks is very much part of BEERKICHI's style.

The post also said "Sayaka festival is underway at Kichi," and mentioned the 7th anniversary celebration starting on May 1, KIRIO meshi in Fukuoka in late May, and a preview of "1000 fried shrimp onslaught." April 12 is a day to look out for as a chance to try three new NEKOBEER kegs in Fukuoka while spending time with a meal.
